Minister asked about scope of Bill C-10 regulation. Says only about “web giants” but his own dept disagrees. It points to: news sites podcast apps audiobooks workout apps sports streaming niche video streamers.

Was very alarmed to hear the Heritage Minister state his own definition of net neutrality in question period today. We should all be concerned when a Minister does not understand such an important principle.

Multiple Bill C-10 questions during question period arising from net neutrality concerns and the Heritage memo making it clear that Bill C-10 regulatory scope covers everything from podcast apps to workout videos. @S_Guilbeault reverts to the usual speaking lines.
