ky News Australia 1.53M subscribers Transcript Hudson Institute Senior Fellow Michael Doran says the Biden administration has a “faulty theory” it can create a balance in the Middle East.
“They have a theory, the Biden administration, I think it’s a very faulty theory, that they can create a balance in the Middle East between their traditional allies and Iran,” Mr Doran said, a former Bush administration National Security Council senior director.
“They kind of see themselves no longer as leading a coalition against Iran and China but just holding a kind of balance between the forces
in the region because they don’t truly believe that the Chinese are
trying to oust us from the region.” Mr Doran said that was a “very faulty assumption”.
